Friends of Children & Families (FOCF) offers a complimentary mentoring program for youth aged 10-17 residing in East Orlando, specifically within designated zip codes of East Orange County. This program focuses on improving school behavior, developing healthy coping mechanisms, self-control, and self-esteem, and enhancing social skills and personal relationships. Mentors, who are rigorously screened, provide guidance and support to foster children, aiming to counteract their previous negative experiences with adults.
