Project YES (Youth Education and Stewardship)
Project YES offers day hikes and overnight backpacking trips for Sacramento region youth groups and schools. Through a series of outings, youth learn about the environment they live in, around, and how they can be better stewards of their environment. Docent-Led Outings
Our docent-led outings are a great way to experience Deer Creek Hills and other properties while learning something new about the land and its resources. Our docents are trained and experienced in many different environmental areas. See a current list of our outings in the Calendar section.
