The Casa de la Luz Inpatient Unit is used as a short-term alternative when symptoms, such as pain, agitation, nausea, etc. cannot be managed in the home setting. Providing on-site, 24-hour, specialized medical expertise together with emotional and spiritual care, the goal of the Inpatient Unit is to control symptoms so you can return home and be supported by the hospice home care team. Admission is determined by the hospice physician in consultation with you, your family, and the hospice team.
