Training

We have provided education, training, and consulting services for alcohol and other drug recovery treatment and detoxification programs since 1989. All training are based on real experiences that occur in the training room as well as the participants’ life experiences. We challenge the traditional education paradigm of “I lecture, you listen.” We design our curricula so that participants learn and develop; within this framework, they learn how to learn. We offer on-site local, regional, and statewide training. Examples of our Training Curricula include:

Social Model Recovery Systems provides training which is highly interactive, utilizing discussion and real-life case studies. Philosophically, the contents are grounded in the social therapy movement, post-modern philosophy, and humanistic education ideals.
